Role overview
Due to BlueLight Commercials focus on capability development and offering to Police Forces and other blue light services we are expanding our Capability Team to enable us to become a CIPS provider, making CIPS qualifications available across blue light services.
In this newly created role you will be primarily responsible for delivering CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) training courses and supporting students in their studies. You will plan, develop and deliver engaging sessions, assess learner progress whilst providing feedback and guidance.
You will also be designing, creating, facilitating and leading dynamic sessions that inspire and help to grow internal capability across multiple subject areas such as contract management.
This is a flexible role in which we can discuss and agree a contract type and hours that are most suitable to both yourself and BlueLight Commercial. Please reach out for a chat if you would like to discuss.

You will be part of a small but expanding Capability team, forming part of the wider Capability, HR and Comms Team and an integral part of BlueLight Commercial, supporting the achievement of the companies key strategic aims.

My Responsibilities and accountabilities (what will I be doing?)
- Planning, developing and delivering engaging learning sessions mostly online with occasional face to face delivery
- Assisting with the production of e-learning, course notes and handouts, videos, blog posts and other content
- Undertaking reviews of the effectiveness of training delivery methods
- Reviewing current and future trends for learning
- Supporting learners with end point assessments, keeping records of learner attendance and progress
- Undertaking any other work as directed by your line manager in connection with your job as may be requested
Qualifications & Accreditations
You are someone who has attained:
- CIPS qualified or equivalent industry experience
- Relevant teaching or training qualification is desirable
Experience & Knowledge
You are someone who has:
- Experience in delivering CIPS training courses, procurement apprenticeships or similar procurement and supply chain qualifications
- Strong knowledge of procurement and supply chain management principles and practices
- Experience with online learning platforms and virtual training delivery
Skills
You are someone who has:
- Excellent organisational skills, personal resilience and the ability to multi-task with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to engage and motivate learners

*NPPV3: Vetting process | Warwickshire Police
This level of vetting grants the applicant to have unsupervised, unrestricted access to police premises and systems and could include those working in areas where the police roles have been identified as designated posts. NPPV3 allows access to classified police material or information up to SECRET and occasional access to TOP SECRET
