An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of BlueLight Commercial leading critical
transformational change work.
You will play a pivotal role in ensuring BlueLight Commercial has the capability and capacity to deliver our strategy and transformation programme. The role will provide skilled and focused leadership in the change arena to deliver and embed our transformation strategy, building change maturity throughout the organisation.
You will engage with a variety of stakeholders to identify transformational change opportunities and to create a strong interest for collaborative working and an appetite to achieve excellence.
The work is diverse and requires someone that thrives when given autonomy to define, scope and lead cross several functional workstreams.
The position is an influential and challenging role which will involve working closely with the CEO, Strategic Leadership Team, Home Office, NPCC, and other key stakeholders to deliver against an ambitious strategy.

My Responsibilities and accountabilities
- Lead on the translation, alignment and implementation of strategic priorities and initiatives (from definition through to implementation).
- Formulate a well-defined portfolio, working in collaboration with the strategic leadership team, ensuring visibility and accountability across the change portfolio (delivering to time, costs and quality).
- Build, enhance and sustain organizational capabilities/benefits, whilst fostering shared ownership and understanding of the key business implications.
- Support the development of clear cases for change, desired outcomes/measures, priorities, scope, roles, decision making.
- Develop and co-ordinate the transformation roadmap, handling risks/issues/ dependencies as they arise and keeping stakeholders focused on the agreed change outcomes and benefits.
- Lead on change management, business efficiency and service improvement. Providing research, developing solutions/products and proof of concepts for strategic business developments. Demonstrating foresight, conceptual capability and environmental market awareness.
- Implement new and innovative methodologies, taking the best from across Government and wider business world, to strengthen the approach to delivering efficiencies through organisation change.
- Set clear approach to incentivise behaviors that support transformational change, identifying and implementing targeted interventions to change culture, behaviors and mindsets at all levels.
- Ensure the change framework, governance model and controls balance business risk and pace, reduce complexity, and ensures methodologies are fit for purpose, enhancing the organizations capability to deliver change.
- Contribute to building a high performing organisational culture based on excellence and continuous improvement, sharing best practice tools and methodologies that underpin successful transformation and culture change.
- Build on the ethos of collaboration and teamwork throughout the organisation, creating a culture where co-design of solutions and continuous improvements is seen as everyone’s responsibility.
- Ensuring data and information is available to support to transformation activity and delivery, including development of templates, KPIs and dashboards.
Qualifications & Accreditations
You are someone who has attained:
- Strong academic record – degree level business discipline or relevant Change/ Transformation professional qualification.
- Strong track record of successful delivery of Change and/or Transformation strategies in complex organisations, delivering cultural, process and system wide improvement.
- Demonstrable evidence of consulting on strategy, identifying business outcomes and converting to realistic roadmaps, working with wider organisation.
- The ability to create and present a compelling vision and set clear direction, motivating others to work towards a common goal.
- Demonstrable evidence of building and leading functions and
capabilities.

The successful applicant will be subject to pre-employment checks including medical screening and vetting (carried out externally NPPV3* ) due to the nature of our business this is important. As standard you will need to satisfy:

*NPPV3: Vetting process | Warwickshire Police
This level of vetting grants the applicant to have unsupervised, unrestricted access to police premises and systems and could include those working in areas where the police roles have been identified as designated posts. NPPV3 allows access to classified police material or information up to SECRET and occasional access to TOP SECRET
Clearance at SC level, sits alongside NPPV3 allows applicants access to a higher level of secure information and systems.
