I have over 35 years’ policing experience as a police officer and police staff.

In that time, I have served as an officer with Kent Police with a focus on Major Crime investigations and Crime Management. My last two postings were to West Division (Maidstone, Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells and Sevenoaks) as the Head of CID and then in 2016 I was seconded into Kent’s OPCC as the Force’s Liaison Officer. I retired as a Detective Chief Inspector in 2018.

On retirement I joined the PCC’s office as a member of staff undertaking the role of Force Liaison and Staff Officer to Matthew Scott, the Police and Crime Commissioner
